Chinese for Elementary School Cui Yonghua
Chinese for Elementary School is the first textbook designed exclusively for Chinese Immersion Programs in North America. Each grade contains book A and book B. Each book has 16 lessons. One lesson one week and 60-90 minutes class time each day (Adjustable). It aligns with 5C, ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, and other national standards.

Monkey King Chinese
Monkey King Chinese Series is designed for k-3 non-heritage students. Divided into two subseries, the preschool series is for kids at 4-6 and the school-age series is for age 7-10. Using rhythms, games, songs, and activities, it aims at arming kids with basic Chinese language knowledge.
Preschool series is a set of textbooks compiled for children in English-speaking countries to learn Chinese. It consists of 12 lessons in two volumes with a total vocabulary of 73 words. The textbook (including a CD) is accompanied with one book of word cards.
School-age series is a set of elementary Chinese language primers for primary school children from Grade 1 to Grade 3 in North America. This series of textbooks is divided into three levels according to the year rank. Each level consists of two volumes, A and B.
Chinese Paradise
Chinese Paradise is a series of Chinese textbooks targeted at non-heritage primary school students in North America. Considering that children are active and vigorous, Chinese Paradise teaches Chinese through colorful, vivid and interesting pictures and games. Based on a comprehensive survey of the Chinese teaching situation in European and American elementary schools, this series includes plenty of highly applicable teaching activities appealing to children.
The second edition of the whole series has altogether six levels, suitable for students in Grades 1-6 in primary schools. Each level comprises one textbook (with a CD), one workbook (with a CD), one set of word cards (for all language editions), one teacher’s book (for all language editions), one corresponding reader, one set of tests, and four multimedia CD-ROMs.
New Concept Chinese
New Concept Chinese series is specially designed and locally tailored for heritage students from pre-k to high school with altogether 16 volumes. Volume 1-3 is for the 1st grade; 4-6 for the 2nd grade; 7 and 8 for the 3rd grade; 9 and 10 for the 4th grade; 11 and 12 for the 5th grade; 13 and 14 for the 6th grade; 15 and 16 for the 7th grade. Each volume includes: 1. One Textbook; 2. Two Workbooks; 3. One box of Flashcards for students (volumes 1-9) 4. One box of Flashcards for teachers (volumes 1-9); 5. One accompanying CD; 6. One final exam paper.
  • The textbooks offer rich Chinese culture covering aspects such as literature, geography, history, philosophy, etc. Upon finishing the whole series, the students will master 2,500 characters and will be able to pass the AP Chinese Exam.
  • Since children are good at imitating and acquiring new things, New Concept Chinese starts from character teaching, while pinyin is not introduced until the 4th volume is taught (the 2nd grade). Teaching won't take much time since the focus is on pronunciation and reading aloud.
  • The systematically organized 16 volumes, together with the complete accompanying products, meet the needs of learners from children to high school students.
  • Most of the texts are children's songs that are full of rhymes and easy for learning and teaching.
