This series of reading materials is designed specially for students who have learned basic Chinese and are looking for easy readings to help them increase their ability to read the language. There are five levels in the series and each level is designed for students who can read 1,000 or 1,750 or 2,500 or 3,500 or 5,000 Chinese characters. Each level has twelve lessons and each lesson has three texts, which are distributed in sheets (one lesson one set of sheets). Each lesson contains approximately 5% new vocabulary and the text consists of 400-1000 words in five different levels. Within the lessons there are two HSK simulated reading exams to help students test their reading levels.
