In 466, Liu Zixun, the nephew of the emperor Liu Yu (Emperor Ming of Liu Song) claimed himself to be the emperor in Xunyang. And the civil war almost affected the whole country, and later it evolved to be the war between Liu Song and the Northern Wei. Wang Zhong'er was a normal girl of the middle class. But her family was killed in the war and she was plundered to the imperial palace to be a maid at the age of 30. And her fate accidentally associated with the then system "the crown prince's biological mother had to die" and she was involved in the center of power.
