The "Reading Guidance" in every part and the "Brief Review" after each paper not only   make a general survey of each research field, but also make an objective introduction to the selected papers’ status and merits in academia. 
 
 Two appendixes, Analysis of Quotations of Teaching Chinese in the World from 1987 to 2001 and Appendix of Papers on TCFL from 1991 to 2004, are very valuable reference documents.
