It’s My Book – Guided Reading in Chinese
 
Level 2 of It’s My Book – Guided Reading in Chinese is designed for Chinese immersion K-8 learners. Like the other levels in the series, Level 2 includes 30 individual storybooks organized into six themes: Individual, Family, School, Social Studies, Animals & Plants, and Nature.
Each story is carefully controlled to include around 100 Chinese characters, with the total text length for each book also kept at approximately 100 characters, making the books manageable while helping young learners steadily expand their reading ability.
 
Level 2 – Family
This set includes 5 books from the Family theme of Level 2 in It’s My Book – Guided Reading in Chinese. These stories center on children’s daily family life, including interactions with siblings, getting dressed, going out, and everyday routines at home.
Designed for beginning Chinese learners in immersion settings, the books feature controlled vocabulary and short texts of approximately 100 Chinese characters each. Through familiar family-centered topics, young readers can strengthen their reading confidence while building vocabulary related to home life, family relationships, and daily activities.
